1. ABU DHABI
Top Notes: Bergamot, Lemon, Pink Pepper, Green
Middle Notes: Jasmine, Violet, Frangipani Aromaspace, Osmanthus, Cherry Blossom
Base Notes: Orris, Amber, Musk, Powdery, Sandalwood, Vanilla
Abu Dhabi is unique, according to the perfumer and Mr. Saeed Alnuaimi. It's the central city of the UAE. When you look at it from the plane, you see it next to the desert, and there's this beautiful green area called Liwa. When we got there, seeing all the green plants, veggies, and flowers in the desert made us add lemon & jasmine scents to our perfumes. Walking along the Corniche Road with palm trees all around us, we thought including sandalwood in our perfume mix would be great.
2. DUBAI
Top Notes: Baies Rose, Olibanum, Myrrh, and Armoire
Middle Notes: Sandalwood, Damask Fusion, Saffron, and Oud
Base Notes: Musk, Dates Aromaspace, Patchouli, and Nagarmotha
In the busy city of Dubai, which is full of businesses, we soaked in luxury, enjoying scents like Oud and Patchouli. When we reached Jumeirah, where date palms are everywhere, we decided to add hints of date fragrance. Exploring the old market, filled with the delightful smell of spices, made us want to include scents like saffron and musk in our experience.
3. SHARJAH
Top Notes: William Pear ARS, Bergamot, and Syringa
Middle Notes: Tuberose, Gardenia, Orange Blossom, and Civet
Base Notes: Orris, White Musk, and Labdanum
Sharjah is so pretty, with green streets and palm trees everywhere. We decided to add the sweet scents of orange blossom and white musk to capture that joyful vibe. We made a little pit stop by the mountainside. The air was filled with the delicate smell of tiny flowers. It was so lovely that we knew we had to include that essence in our collection, too.
4. AJMAN
Top Notes: Elderflower, Williams Pear Aromaspace, and Lemon
Middle Notes: Chamomile, Star Anise, and Lavender
Base Notes: Amber, Kashmir Fusion, and Musks
After spending a day mixing oils and exploring the city, we accidentally took a wrong turn in Ajman and ended up in peaceful farm areas. Feeling relaxed, we decided to add chamomile to our collection. Then, we stumbled upon a family making Bukhoor on the farm. It was a lovely surprise that added even more delightful smells of musk and amber to our adventure.
5. UMM AL QUWAIN
Top Notes: Basil, Pepper, and Bergamot
Middle Notes: Sweet Pea, Jasmine, and Sandal
Base Notes: Amberwood, Vetiver, and White Musk
Umm AL Quwain is known for its mangrove trees; we added vetiver and white musk to the mix when we tried to get to the beach. This combo gives you the feeling of a day with just the right amount of humidity.
6. RAS AL KHAIMAH
Top Notes: Bergamot, Mandarin, Mohitofusion, and Clary Sage
Middle Notes: Green, Jasmin, and Muguet
Base Notes: Leather, Musk, Patchouli, Animal, Amber, and Cedarwood
Ras Al Khaimah is called a city with three different landscapes. When you visit Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah, you'll see a beautiful view of mountains and olive trees. It's a surprising sight that adds greenery, jasmine, and bergamot scents to what we can smell here.
7. FUJAIRAH
Top Notes: Pear, Aquatic, Bergamot, Lemon, and Mandarin
Middle Notes: Lily, Cyclamen, Green accord, and White Jasmin
Base Notes: Cedarwood, Sandalwood, Guaiacwood, Vetiver, Oakmoss, Amber, and Musk
We drove from Dubai to Fujairah and felt peaceful at the beach. While on the road, we got inspired by pear, cyclamen, amber, and musk scents. So, we decided to create a new perfume for this city.
