I live in Ireland and made the mistake of ordering from The Scent Library three times in one week. Due to gross incompetence by their shipping partners, two of my three shipments were mislabeled. The result? One shipment was completely lost in transit, the second arrived incredibly late, and the third suffered the exact same fate as the first.
For six weeks, my tracking status displayed a fabricated "We've attempted to deliver the shipment Not to worry, the delivery has been rescheduled" update, even though the package was never even in Ireland. When I reached out to The Scent Library for a refund or a replacement, they claimed they would "launch an investigation" and then completely ghosted me.
To understand the chaos, you have to look at their convoluted European shipping chain: The Scent Library ships via Quiqup, who partners with Aramex, who ultimately hands the package off to FedEx for final delivery. Aramex is the one mislabeling the packages, and Quiqup is uniquely ineffective and uncommunicative when things go wrong.
The only company that actually helped was FedEx. After I did my own digging and submitted a lost item form, FedEx investigated and discovered that the first package was undeliverable because Aramex mislabeled it (perfumes are classified as dangerous goods in Europe). For the third shipment, FedEx actually had to contact me directly to verify that the package contents matched the airway bill and declared value.
To summarize: Aramex mislabels packages, Quiqup does absolutely nothing, and The Scent Library refuses to help loyal customers who have spent hundreds of euros with them. No matter how good the product is, and the one product that actually got to me is very good, nothing is worth the headache of dealing with these clowns. 0/5 stars.
